4. Legal bases

Depending on where you live, we process personal data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you, because we have legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, because we need to comply with law, or because you direct us to process certain data, such as voice samples you upload for cloning.

5. Voice data and generated audio

If you use voice cloning, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the voice data. Voice samples may contain biometric or sensitive personal data under some laws. We process that data only to provide the requested voice-related features, handle verification requirements, support safety checks, and maintain the service.

We do not promise that third-party providers will treat voice data exactly the same way we do. When voice samples or text are sent to ElevenLabs to provide generation or cloning features, that processing is also subject to ElevenLabs' terms and privacy practices.

If you delete your account through the application, we are intended to remove your user record, books, manuscript files, and generated segment audio from the app's storage workflow. Some information may remain in backups, logs, or records we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons for a limited period.

8. International processing

We and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Data protection laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.
